… in A Unique Setting
Abbey Care Nursing forms part of Abbey Care Village, located in the beautiful village of Scorton, near Richmond North Yorkshire. The home is set in 7 acres, with private gardens and abundance of space.
Our nursing care is set in the home known as Archery and Bower suites. Archery Suite is a specialist EMI Dementia facility and Bower General Nursing facility. The home provides accommodation for up to 60 residents, in well-proportioned en-suite rooms.
Our aim at Abbey Care is to take away the fears about personal security and care that can often affect an individual’s quality of life – from mobility and eating well to personal hygiene and grooming. Free of these worries, our residents thrive in a unique setting that offers all the comforts of home.
We are proud of all our team members, our skilled and fully qualified nurses and Care Workers are committed to maintaining the health, wellbeing and dignity of each resident. All residential nursing care is based on tailored, individual programmes that are centred on the individual and the level of care they need. Importantly, each resident is allocated their own dedicated carers, who not just ensured the highest possible care is provided, but also ensure there is suitable entertainment and lots of inspiring activities to choose from every single day.. This means that familiar, friendly faces are always on hand, right around the clock to provide quality nursing care.
Our team is highly experienced to work and care for range of conditions, in particular dementia conditions and challenging behaviour.
Our team includes our resident chef who prepares three fresh tasty home-cooked meals each day. We have a dedicated laundry team who ensure that all clothes and bedding are freshly laundered.
